The time has come! Valheim has updated and we’re getting all that new juicy juicy content. I won’t lie, I’ve been waiting for this one since they announced it. A new merchant? Some actual quest-like content to go through? YAS, QUEEN. So what are we getting exactly?

A new NPC: Hildir the merchant. Hildi – as I am going to call her – also offers new quests via a special map table, new quest items in the form of equally special chests, and of course new gear. New items include dresses, shawls, tunics, caps, and more. And of course, she’ll buy any of the standard bits and bobs you find along your way just like Haldor.

• A black forge extension, the vice.

• New furniture: a barber station and a firepit.

• New materials: barber kits (used to make a barber station) and iron pits.

• New item: The sparkler.

• New minibosses!

• New world design options (which is freaking well worth the wait).

• A bunch of fixes including graphical ones so you can see hairstyles, beard styles, etc.
