Personal Data may be freely provided by the User (for example, when registering an account or placing an order), or collected automatically when using the Service (Usage Data). Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by Haptic is necessary to provide the Service, and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for Haptic to deliver its services.
Any use of Cookies or other tracking tools by Haptic or by the owners of third-party services used by Haptic serves the purpose of providing the Service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in this document.

Methods of Processing
We take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of the Data. Data processing is carried out using computers and IT tools, following organizational procedures related to the purposes indicated in this policy.
Place of Processing
The Data is processed at Haptic's operating locations and by the third-party service providers listed in this policy. Depending on the User's location, data transfers may involve transferring the User's Data to a country other than their own, including the United States.
Retention Time
Unless specified otherwise, Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose for which it was collected and may be retained for longer due to applicable legal obligations or based on the User's consent.

Analytics
The services contained in this section enable Haptic to monitor and analyze web traffic and can be used to keep track of User behavior.
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)
Google Analytics 4 is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of Haptic, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used at collection time and then discarded before Data is logged in any data center or server. Users can learn more by consulting Google's official documentation.
Personal Data processed: Trackers, Usage Data, session statistics, user properties (such as user type and acquisition source).

Google Analytics Advertising Features (Google LLC)
Haptic has Google Analytics Advertising Features enabled, which may collect additional information from advertising cookies and device advertising identifiers. These features allow Haptic to analyze behavior and interests Data, traffic Data, and Users' ads interaction Data.
Users can opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting Google's Ads Settings. In order to understand Google's use of Data, consult their partner policy.
Personal Data processed: Trackers, unique device identifiers for advertising, Usage Data.

Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc.)
Vercel Analytics is a product analytics service provided by Vercel Inc. that gives Haptic insight into how Users interact with the Service. Vercel Speed Insights is also used to monitor page performance.
Personal Data processed: page views, custom events, device information, performance metrics.

Advertising Measurement and Conversion Tracking
The services contained in this section enable Haptic to measure the effectiveness of its advertising campaigns and attribute conversions to specific ads.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking with Enhanced Conversions (Google LLC)
Haptic uses Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of its advertising campaigns. When a User completes a purchase, Haptic sends conversion data to Google including the transaction value and a hashed (encrypted) version of the User's email address. This is known as "Enhanced Conversions" and it allows Google to more accurately measure ad performance by matching conversion data against signed-in Google accounts.
Google commits to protecting the confidentiality and security of Enhanced Conversions data. The hashed data is used only for measurement and is not shared with other advertisers. Users can learn more at How Google uses enhanced conversion data.

Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting
This type of service allows Haptic and its partners to inform, optimize, and serve advertising based on past use of the Service by the User. This activity is facilitated by tracking Usage Data and by using Trackers to collect information which is then transferred to the partners that manage the remarketing and behavioral targeting activity.
Users may opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting the relevant opt-out section below in this document.
Google Ads Customer Match: Conversion-Based Customer Lists (Google LLC)
Haptic shares customer information (specifically, hashed email addresses collected during conversions) with Google to create Customer Match audience lists. These lists pair with Google's advertising tools to show personalized advertisements to existing customers or similar potential customers while they browse across Google services including Search, YouTube, Gmail, and the Google Display Network.
Google uses this data only as instructed by Haptic and does not share Customer Match data files with other advertisers. Users can control ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings. For more information, see Google's Customer Match policy.

Handling Payments
Payment processing services enable Haptic to process payments by credit card, bank transfer, or other means. To ensure greater security, Haptic shares only the information necessary to execute the transaction with the financial intermediaries handling the transaction. Haptic does not store or have access to full credit card numbers.
Stripe (Stripe Inc.)
Stripe is a payment service provided by Stripe Inc.
Personal Data processed: email address, payment method details, transaction data.

Registration and Authentication
By registering or authenticating, Users allow Haptic to identify them and give them access to dedicated services.
Supabase (Supabase Inc.)
Supabase provides authentication and database services for Haptic. User accounts, profiles, and game server configurations are stored securely using Supabase.
Personal Data processed: email address, hashed password, User ID, game server configuration data.

Infrastructure Monitoring and Error Tracking
This type of service allows Haptic to monitor the use and behavior of its components so its performance, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting can be improved.
Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.)
Sentry is a monitoring service provided by Functional Software, Inc. Haptic uses Sentry to detect and diagnose software errors. Haptic also uses Sentry Session Replay, which records and plays back user sessions for the purpose of diagnosing errors and improving the Service. Session Replay uses a privacy-by-default approach: all text content and user input are masked before leaving the browser and are displayed as placeholder characters during playback.
Personal Data processed: IP address, device information, browser information, Usage Data, session replay recordings (with text and inputs masked by default).

Email Communications
This type of service makes it possible to manage a database of email contacts to communicate with the User. These services may also collect data concerning the date and time when a message was viewed by the User.
Resend (Resend Inc.)
Resend is an email delivery service used by Haptic for transactional emails (such as purchase receipts and server alerts) and marketing emails. Marketing emails are only sent to Users who have provided consent. Users may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each email.

Customer Support
Crisp (Crisp IM SAS)
Crisp is a customer support and live chat service provided by Crisp IM SAS. Users may interact with Haptic support through the Crisp chat widget embedded on the Service.
Personal Data processed: chat messages, email address (if provided), Usage Data.
Place of processing: France. Privacy Policy.
Hosting and Backend Infrastructure
This type of service has the purpose of hosting Data and files that enable Haptic to run and be distributed, as well as to provide a ready-made infrastructure to run specific features of the Service.
Vercel (Vercel Inc.)
Vercel is a hosting and deployment platform used to serve the Haptic website.

Backblaze B2 (Backblaze Inc.)
Backblaze B2 is a cloud storage service used by Haptic to store game world backup files. These files are associated with individual User accounts.
Personal Data processed: game world backup files (tied to User accounts).

Traffic Optimization and Distribution
Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.)
Cloudflare is a traffic optimization and distribution service provided by Cloudflare Inc. The way Cloudflare is integrated means that it filters all the traffic through the Service, i.e., communication between the Service and the User's browser, while also allowing analytical data to be collected.
Personal Data processed: IP address, Cookies, various types of Data as specified in their privacy policy.

In addition to any opt-out feature provided by any of the services listed in this document, Users may opt out of interest-based advertising by using the following tools:

Cookies and Trackers
Haptic uses Trackers, including cookies, for the following purposes:
- Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics
_ga,_gid): used to distinguish users and track website usage - Advertising cookies (e.g., Google Ads, DoubleClick): used for conversion tracking, remarketing, and ad personalization
- Functional cookies: used for authentication sessions (Supabase) and user preferences (theme)
- Customer support cookies (Crisp): used to maintain chat sessions
- Error monitoring cookies (Sentry): used for error tracking and session replay
Users can manage cookie preferences through their browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. For Google Analytics specifically, Users can install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
Further Information for Users in the European Union
This section applies to all Users in the European Union, according to the General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR"), and for such Users, supersedes any other possibly divergent or conflicting information contained in this privacy policy.
Legal Basis of Processing
Haptic may process Personal Data relating to Users if one of the following applies:
- Consent: Users have given their consent for one or more specific purposes, including analytics and advertising features.
- Performance of a contract: Processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User, such as providing game server hosting, processing payments, and managing User accounts.
- Legitimate interests: Processing is necessary for legitimate interests pursued by Haptic, such as security, fraud prevention, error monitoring, and service improvement.
- Legal obligation: Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which Haptic is subject.
Retention
Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between Haptic and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed. Personal Data collected for the purposes of Haptic's legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Haptic may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn, or whenever required to fulfil a legal obligation.
Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.
The Rights of Users Based on the GDPR
Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data processed by Haptic. In particular, Users have the right to do the following, to the extent permitted by law:
- Withdraw their consent at any time. Users have the right to withdraw consent where they have previously given their consent to the processing of their Personal Data.
- Object to processing of their Data. Users have the right to object to the processing of their Data if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent.
- Access their Data. Users have the right to learn if Data is being processed by Haptic, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing, and obtain a copy of the Data undergoing processing.
- Verify and seek rectification. Users have the right to verify the accuracy of their Data and ask for it to be updated or corrected.
- Restrict the processing of their Data. Users have the right to restrict the processing of their Data. In this case, Haptic will not process their Data for any purpose other than storing it.
- Have their Personal Data deleted or otherwise removed. Users have the right to obtain the erasure of their Data from Haptic.
- Receive their Data and have it transferred to another controller. Users have the right to receive their Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without any hindrance.
- Lodge a complaint. Users have the right to bring a claim before their competent data protection authority.

Where Personal Data is processed for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Haptic, Users may object to such processing by providing a ground related to their particular situation to justify the objection. Users must know that, should their Personal Data be processed for direct marketing purposes, they can object to that processing at any time, free of charge and without providing any justification.

Any requests to exercise User rights can be directed to Haptic through the contact details provided in this document. Such requests are free of charge and will be answered by Haptic as early as possible and always within one month, providing Users with the information required by law.
International Data Transfers
Haptic is based in the United States. Data is processed by service providers located primarily in the United States and France (Crisp). Users in the European Union should be aware that their Data is transferred to the United States for processing. Haptic relies on the service providers' compliance mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure adequate protection of transferred Data.

User
The individual using Haptic who, unless otherwise specified, coincides with the Data Subject.
Data Controller (or Owner)
