I can't connect to my server

Oh nooooo! The dreaded feeling of trying to use that shiny game server and, for some reason, you can't connect to it! There are usually just a few reasons this could be happening.

First, make sure you type in your ip:port correctly. You can always use the copy button on your Server Slot to make sure you got it right.

Second, check your versions! Your game version may have to match your server version. You can't play Minecraft 1.19.2 if your server is still running version 1.19. In this case, just configure your Minecraft game instance to use the same version as your game.
