New featureValheim mod installs go one-click with a Thunderstore profile code
Valheim now generates a Thunderstore profile code for instant mod installs, plus new multi-world support, clearer mod errors, and console fixes across several games.
Valheim gets one-click mod installs with a profile code
Every Valheim server now has its own Thunderstore profile code. Paste it into r2modman or the Thunderstore Mod Manager and it installs BepInEx and every mod your server needs at the exact right versions in one step. You'll find it on your server's public page, the Mods card, your Share text and your Discord card, and it keeps itself up to date whenever your mods change.
Better than before
Start a new world beside the one you have, or switch between them
V Rising, Necesse, HumanitZ, Sons of the Forest and Windrose servers can now start a brand new world without losing your current one, and switch back and forth whenever you like. Astroneer servers can switch between saved worlds too.
Icarus
switch to a saved prospect from the Basic tab: You can now start a prospect your Icarus server already has saved right from the Basic tab, instead of only starting fresh.
Your server's public page lists exactly what players need to install
Valheim's public server page and Mods card now show players the exact mod versions and libraries they need to install to join, including ones your server quietly depends on.
Garry's Mod
simpler memory options, no extra boost needed: Garry's Mod servers now offer straightforward 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and Custom memory options, with no extra memory boost required, while Wake & Play keeps working as before.
Search your Minecraft Java game rules
The Game Rules list now has a search box, making it quick to find the one rule you want to change.
Console on phones makes more room for your log
On phones, quick actions, commands and search now tuck neatly out of the way so you see more of your live log while typing. Desktop console text is also a touch smaller for a cleaner look.
16 more improvements
- Factorio: build a new world from a Map Exchange String: Starting a new Factorio world now lets you paste in a Map Exchange String to recreate that exact map.
- Don't Starve Together: World and Caves presets for new worlds: When starting a new Don't Starve Together world, you can now pick a World Preset and a Caves Preset to shape how it generates.
- Terraria's New World screen now offers special seeds: Pick a special seed right from the New World window when creating a Terraria world.
- Palworld's New World screen includes a Randomizer Seed: Set a Randomizer Seed when creating a new Palworld world. The Pal Randomizer reshuffles at your next restart.
- Minecraft Java: Single Biome world type with a biome picker: Creating a Single Biome world now lets you choose exactly which biome to use.
- Coming back to Haptic is now one click per saved world: If your plan ended, My Servers now shows every saved world with its own Restart button, so you can pick up right where you left off at your old size and plan.
- Clearer fix when a mod needs a newer Fabric Loader: If a mod needs a newer Fabric Loader, Haptic now tells you to update the loader on the Mods card instead of suggesting you remove the mod.
- Garry's Mod console gets nine new commands, CS2 RCON tooltip clarified: Garry's Mod's console now includes removeid, users, version, ulx help and more. The RCON password tooltip for Counter-Strike 2 now explains what the password does and how it's used.
- Haptic now catches mods that can't run together: Mods that declare they conflict with each other are now flagged, with a one-click way to remove the problem mod. Adding the same mod twice is blocked too.
- Bedrock add-ons that need a resource pack get flagged automatically: When an add-on you install needs its own resource pack, Haptic now turns on Require Resource Pack for you and tells you why.
- Rust's Raidable Bases now installs its companion plugins: Adding Raidable Bases on Rust now also pulls in Copy Paste and GUI Shop with Economics, so everything it needs is ready to go.
- Update a held mod with one click: When a mod update is on hold, you can now hit "Update anyway" right from the hint or the Mods card. We'll tell you in one sentence what might break before you confirm.
- Setting help is now a tap away on phones and tablets: Settings that only explained themselves on hover, like Counter-Strike 2's RCON Password or Palworld's Day Speed, now show a question-mark you can tap for the explanation on touch devices.
- Bedrock add-on conflicts now name the winner: When two Bedrock add-ons change the same thing, Haptic now tells you which one wins based on your load order, right on the Mods card and in the save popup.
- Turn off Valve Anti-Cheat on your Counter-Strike 2 server: Counter-Strike 2 now has a VAC switch on the Details tab, matching what Garry's Mod and V Rising already offer. It's on by default so nothing changes unless you turn it off.
- Clearer waiting message when a required mod isn't approved yet: If a mod needs another mod Haptic hasn't approved yet, you'll see a note explaining it's being tested. Once that mod passes, it's added automatically for anyone with permission to manage the server's mods.
27 bugs squashed
Counter-Strike 2Fixes: 2
- The CS2 console now refuses commands that try to change your server password or shut the server down through roundabout means, and tells you why.
- A plugin that bundles another plugin's shared files in its own folder was wrongly treated as self-sufficient. Haptic now correctly asks for the companion plugin it still needs.
DayZFixes: 2
- Haptic now reads each DayZ mod's own files to find every addon it requires, following chains a few levels deep, instead of relying on a short hand-picked list. Mods like Expansion Plus and its add-ons now install correctly alongside what your server already runs.
- DayZ and Palworld servers using Steam Workshop mods no longer show wrong messages about when mod updates take effect, since Steam updates these for everyone automatically rather than waiting for a restart.
FiveMFixes: 3
- Qbox servers no longer fail at boot due to a missing interface build, so your framework and inventory load correctly.
- New FiveM and RedM servers no longer print a harmless "No such command" error at boot caused by a stray character in the default config.
- ESX-based FiveM servers used to print a confusing "esx_core has no resource manifest" warning every time they booted. That warning is gone now.
MinecraftFixes: 3
- When an approved mod update needs a newer dependency, Haptic now picks a compatible approved version automatically instead of holding your server.
- When Haptic restarts a Minecraft server to fix a mod problem, your activity log now explains why, and you get the right loader-specific message instead of a generic one.
- When NeoForge, Forge or Fabric can't start because a mod needs a newer version, the console now tells you which mod and which build are needed instead of a generic error.
Minecraft BedrockFixes: 2
- Minecraft Bedrock add-ons were sometimes applied out of order, so an earlier add-on could win a conflict it shouldn't have. Add-ons and resource packs now follow your actual load order, and any packs your imported world already had keep their place.
- Block conflicts between Bedrock add-ons now correctly name which pack wins, matching how other conflict types already work.
Minecraft JavaFixes: 1
- If your Minecraft Java server stalls because of a mod problem, it now starts itself back up once that problem is resolved, instead of waiting for you to press Start.
NecesseFixes: 1
- A returning player's join line could briefly show as "N/A" on your dashboard. Haptic now always shows their real name.
PalworldFixes: 1
- Some Palworld mods weren't taking effect because their files weren't being loaded with the priority the game expects. Affected mods now install correctly and apply as intended.
Project ZomboidFixes: 1
- When a mod is skipped because something it needs isn't installed, or its ID doesn't match, the Mods card now explains exactly what's wrong and what to do about it in plain sentences.
RustFixes: 1
- The outside RCON tool row was cutting off the port number on phones and in narrow dashboard columns. It now shows the port on its own so it's always readable.
TerrariaFixes: 2
- Skyblock worlds now read back their complete seed instead of a partial one.
- Mods requiring Fargo's Mutant Mod no longer fail to install because of a version mismatch.
BillingFixes: 1
- If undoing a cancellation fails, you'll now see an error message instead of being wrongly told your plan will renew.
ModsFixes: 7
- When a mod needs another mod, that dependency now shows up as its own row in the right place on the Mods card, instead of sometimes getting a false warning or loading out of order.
- Mod updates now check that other mods on your server are ready for the new version before applying it, so your server doesn't end up stuck between mismatched mods after an update.
- If a mod needs another mod Haptic doesn't have yet, Browse now offers a "Request" button next to it. We also fixed Palworld's paste preview so it no longer wrongly rejects mods that list PalSchema.
- Mod request errors now say what actually happened: whether no site had a fitting version, a download failed, or the mod comes from a site Haptic doesn't pull from automatically, instead of always claiming no version exists.
- Saving mod changes could tell you a mod was added when it was actually already loaded by another mod. Those notifications now only list what was really installed.
- If a mod version gets revoked, it's now left out of every server start so players never end up running it.
- Mods you've held back from updating no longer claim Haptic will update them automatically, since held mods need a manual update instead.
