HumanitZ server hosting, done properly
A dedicated HumanitZ server for your group, so the world keeps its bases and loot whether or not the host is online. Every setting from GameServerSettings.ini is in the dashboard, and the Admins tab keeps your admins, whitelist and bans. Friends find the server by name in Find Server or join with the address on your server card.
Hardware built for HumanitZ
HumanitZ is heavy on single-thread performance, so we run it on top-tier AMD Ryzen 9 processors, including the flagship 9950X, with NVMe storage. Every HumanitZ plan also gets 2GB of extra memory headroom on top of what you pay for, because Unreal Engine servers grow above their idle size as players spread out across the map and the zombie hordes spawn around them.
Your survivors, without a host
On a dedicated server the world does not depend on one player's PC, so anyone in your group can log in and keep scavenging. Up to 16 players by default, and you can set Max Players anywhere from 1 to 64.
Every setting in the dashboard
Loot rarity, zombie and bandit spawns, seasons, day length, PvP, permadeath and what you lose on death are all fields in your dashboard. They are written into the game at every start, so nothing gets lost in a config file.
Admins, whitelist and bans
The Admins tab keeps the game's admin list, reserved slots and ban list by Steam ID. A ban reaches a running server at once. Turn on Whitelist Only to keep the server to your group.
Unlimited backups you can actually restore
Automatic daily backups plus event backups around risky changes, with one-click restore. Bring an existing HumanitZ save with you: upload your world as save files through Files or SFTP and keep playing where you left off.
Full file accessBeta
A real file manager in the browser and SFTP for everything else. Edit configs, drop in mod files, or pull a copy of your save down whenever you want it.
HumanitZ tonight, something else next week
Your memory is a pool, not a HumanitZ-only rental. Swap this server to another game whenever you like, or run several games at once. One subscription covers all of it.
Your HumanitZ server, right where your friends already chat
Add the Haptic bot to your Discord and post a live card for your server.
- Friends wake the server, see who’s on and grab the join code, right in Discord
- A ping in your channel the moment it’s ready to join
- You choose which roles can wake, restart or stop it

In HumanitZ, go to Play, then Multiplayer, then Find Server. Type your server name into the filter and join it from the list, or click Direct Connect and type the numeric IP address and port shown on your server card into its box, for example 203.0.113.10:33001. If Direct Connect times out the first time, press Connect again or join from the list. A server that has just started can take 2 to 3 minutes to appear in the list.
HumanitZ dedicated servers are for the PC version of the game on Steam.
Up to 16 by default, and you can set Max Players anywhere from 1 to 64. Bigger groups spread across the map use more memory, so choose a larger plan for a busy server.
Add your Steam ID as Admin on the Admins tab of your server, and it applies at the next start. You can also type /AdminAccess followed by the Admin Password from your server settings into the game chat.
Yes. HumanitZ mods are .pak files, usually from Nexus Mods. Upload them into install/humanitz/HumanitZServer/Content/Paks/~mods with the file manager or SFTP and restart the server. Every player needs the same mod files on their own PC.
Every 5 minutes by default while players are on, and you can set anything from 1 minute to an hour. Stopping or restarting the server saves the world first. Haptic backs up your world automatically, and you can restore any backup with one click.
Yes. Wake & Play is the cheaper plan. Your server saves and sleeps after about an hour with nobody on, and you wake it from your dashboard before you play. Always On costs more and never sleeps.
HumanitZ servers on Haptic start at 3GB, and 5GB is the recommended size for a full group. Every HumanitZ plan also runs with 2GB of extra headroom on top of what you pay for. You can change memory from the dashboard at any time without moving your world.
