Find and control your dashboard instantly with Cmd+K search
Cmd+K search now finds and controls anything on your dashboard, background backups no longer stall, crashed servers keep your settings, and restarts got faster.
Find and control anything with Cmd+K search
Press Cmd/Ctrl+K anywhere on your dashboard to instantly find servers, settings, mods, backups and pages. You can even toggle switches and change settings right from the search box, or let it walk you through guided steps that highlight exactly where a setting lives.
Shortcuts for everyday moves
The dock under the search box keeps your most common actions one step away. Invite a friend, copy your Split the Bill link, or check Activity without ever leaving the keyboard.
Server actions from anywhere
Every server row carries its own menu. Power up, create a backup, install mods, or copy join details from any page you happen to be on.
- Manual backups now run in the background, even for huge worlds: Starting a backup from your dashboard now hands off to a background job instead of making you sit on the page waiting. Big, chunk-heavy worlds that used to give up partway through a manual backup now finish. Only one backup runs at a time per server, and if another world operation is already going you'll get a clear message instead of a stuck spinner.
- Search opens and closes faster: We found and fixed the causes of a noticeable stutter when opening or closing search, so it now feels instant every time.
- New servers now restart every 48 hours instead of 72: To keep servers running smoothly over longer sessions, new servers now default to a restart every 48 hours instead of 72. Restarts still only happen after your server has been empty for 15 minutes, so no one gets kicked mid-game.
- Changelog update emails are now opt-in: We no longer sign anyone up for our monthly changelog email automatically. If you'd like to get updates in your inbox, you can opt in from your account preferences.
- One-click restart when your server needs more memory: When your world is running low on memory, you'll now see a notice on your server card offering a one-tap fix. Apply any unused memory you already have (or just bought) and restart in the same motion, no separate steps required.
