Haptic Update: September 2026 - Haptic
Haptic UpdateHaptic Update: September 2026
Haptic AdminOct 2, 2026
September was a big month. You can now rate your server, Valheim hit 1.0 with console crossplay, new players can try Valheim free for 3 days, and if a payment ever fails you won't need to sign in to fix it.
Under all that, there's a long list of fixes for the stuff that's been bugging you: mod folders that wouldn't stick, consoles that froze, and backups that lied about their status.
⭐ Reviews are here
Rate your game server and see star ratings and reviews right on each game's hosting page.
A rating strip on My Servers lets you leave a quick review, or snooze it for 30 days.
Reviews now show the game's cover art alongside the reviewer's name and comment.
Tap a star rating to open Trustpilot pre-filled with that same star count.
⚔️ Valheim 1.0 and a free trial
Valheim 1.0 is live with console crossplay support, console platform IDs on the roster, and clear Crossplay player labels.
Server names are now capped so crossplay logins won't fail on longer names.
You can set a specific Valheim world seed before your server's first launch.
New customers can play a Valheim server free for 3 days, no card required, with a trial badge showing time left.
Haptic now flags Microsoft's crossplay relay outages so you know it's not your server's fault.
💳 Billing you can actually fix yourself
A dedicated no-signin page now lets you pay instantly after a failed renewal, or pick a day within the next week.
A new cancel flow offers a relevant deal, including 3 months for the price of 1, or a pause from 1 to 4 months that actually stops billing.
Yearly subscribers now get a heads-up with the renewal amount before they're charged.
🧩 Mods and settings get friendlier
Palworld now supports hand-placed .pak mods that survive restarts, with the mods folder protected correctly in the file manager.
DayZ now actually loads hand-placed @mod folders alongside your catalog mods.
Update your Minecraft Java server's NeoForge, Forge, or Fabric build right from the dashboard.
You can now adjust Palworld's autosave interval from Gameplay settings, cutting the stutter from the default 30-second autosave.
Rust, Satisfactory, Factorio and Project Zomboid servers now autosave every 20 minutes by default.
Workshop mods update instantly now, so players stop getting kicked by a stale version.
🖥️ Console and dashboard polish
Console reconnects more reliably, with a visible Reconnect option and clearer error messages.
Console now supports find-in-log search, timestamps, log downloads, and command autocomplete.
Project Zomboid world imports upload many files at once instead of crawling one at a time.
Pages load faster, especially on phones, thanks to trimmed downloads.
That's everything for September. Each item links back to its full changelog post below if you want the full details.
