I died, my lungs splayed behind me, torn and dragged past my broken ribs. But as I closed my eyes… I opened them again what seemed only a moment later. My pain was gone and I breathed deeply. I felt nothing but the wind soar across my skin. Looking up, I saw I was held in the huge claws of the largest raven I had ever seen. Its wings were whisper-quiet as we traveled… somewhere. I could see the twinkling of lights above me and a soft green glow of unknown structures that pulsed quietly in the night.

Terraria is just fun. It’s a lofi vibefeast for everyone who remembers the original games that it apes. But it combines the old with the new in a way that makes it accessible to the OG (Original Gamer) as much as the new kids. I haven’t played it as much as I’d like. Darn that thing where I have to use my time to perform services and sell goods so I can receive currency to buy goods and services. But all kidding aside, here are a few things I’ve learned about food, resource gathering, and mapping in Terraria.

Haptic is now one whole year old! According to 12-month old development milestones, we are attracted to novelty - and wow is that the truest statement. Along with all the other funsies we have planned, we’re on the verge of launching our new game configuration experience, and woowee, what a doozy. We’ve loved all the feedback we got to make it extra special noice to use and we’re STOKED for what’s coming next out of the wee Haptic dev team (more on that later)!

Valheim is one of those games where the simple can be elusive while the difficult can seem obvious. In other words, things can be annoyingly complicated even when it’s simple. In playing it, though, I’ve found that there are a few things you can do to make this work for you.

Diablo is a highly popular and influential action role-playing game (ARPG) franchise developed by Blizzard Entertainment. The series is known for its dark fantasy setting, intense combat, addictive loot system, and deep storytelling. The franchise has captivated players since the release of the first game in 1996 and has continued to evolve and expand with subsequent sequels, expansions, and spin-offs. But it’s more than that. It’s… it’s probably one of my favorite non-console games (though that has become an increasingly blurry subject itself).

Valheim possesses (sometimes literally) a boatload of technology that can be sorted, sifted, and organized for the players to use. Nominally you start out the game as not much better than a caveman, but it can get quite complex later on (especially with all the yummy, yummy food you can unlock).

Minecraft is coming out with a new update on June 7th, 2023 and man does it look going. This post is going to be fairly short as we will need to see how it plays to determine how much we like it (or not). But all the updates I’ve seen just make it look awesome. Trails and Tales promises to be one of the best things we’ve seen in a while. They’re introducing a ton of new blocks and craftables (the bamboo looks especially awesome) and the thing I’m most excited about: the new archaeology system.

Alright, kids, buckle up. Get your popcorn, your soda, and your Master Sword, because today we’re gonna talk about the Legend of Zelda videogame franchise. First, I am totally biased for this particular franchise. I played the original Legend of Zelda until I got Nintendo thumb when I was like five. I can close my eyes right now and see the shifting screens of the original game. Hear the octoroks shoot and the moblins move in closer.
