Java and Bedrock crossplay can now share one port
Minecraft Java servers can turn on Java + Bedrock crossplay right at signup or with a one-click dialog that handles the server software switch, memory and version changes for you. On supported servers, Bedrock players connect through the same port as Java players.
- Smoother hovering on game selection tiles: Hovering over game tiles on the homepage used to briefly stutter. Hover effects are now much smoother.
- Discord settings are now all in one place: Everything for Haptic's Discord integration now lives on your Account → Discord page, with clearer per-server switches that honestly show On, Off, or Paused. The old Discord card on each server's Overview page is gone.
- RuneScape: Dragonwilds now supports CurseForge mods: You can now add CurseForge pak mods to your Dragonwilds server. We also fixed vanilla servers wrongly showing up as modded, made sure world passwords stay out of your console and files, and pointed startup crash messages straight at the Mods card so a bad mod is easy to find.
- Astroneer gets console access, admin roles and mod support: Astroneer servers now support in-game console commands from your dashboard, admin role management that stays in sync with the game, mod installs, and a new Idle Tick Rate setting. Mods that fail to install now stop the server from booting instead of silently losing your items.
- Hytale settings and whitelist now reach your server: Server name, message of the day, password and max players settings now actually apply to Hytale 0.6 servers, macOS is listed as a supported platform, and console help now shows the right save and gamemode commands.
- Account page loads faster and switches tabs instantly: Opening your account no longer waits on every piece of data at once. Tabs now appear right away, and switching between them feels instant.
- Adding a server closes the panel right away: Starting a new server no longer makes you wait for setup to finish behind the scenes. Your new server shows up instantly as "Creating..." while everything finishes in the background.
- Dismissing notices and deleting backups feels instant: Clearing a boot notice or deleting a server's backup now responds right away instead of waiting on a round trip. If something goes wrong, you'll get a clear message and the change reverts.
- Browser warns you before leaving mid-save: If you try to close or navigate away while a change is still saving, your browser now asks you to confirm first, so you don't lose work in progress.
