New featureReset individual Palworld player characters from the dashboard
Palworld server owners can now reset a single player's character without touching anyone else's progress. This release also fixes world upload rejections, Windrose settings, Minecraft crossplay versioning, and backup accuracy across many games.
Reset a Palworld player's character from the dashboard
Palworld owners can now give a single player a fresh character without touching anyone else's progress. Haptic takes a backup first, and the reset now works for Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Mac players.
Better than before
Windrose
set connection region and broken-save recovery from the dashboard: You can now choose your Windrose server's connection region and whether damaged saves are automatically restored, right from the Overview card's Details tab. No more editing files by hand.
Project Zomboid's memory boost doubled
The free memory boost for Project Zomboid servers now adds 2 GB instead of 1, with the extra room going straight to the game's heap.
Bedrock crossplay now supports Minecraft 26.3
Crossplay servers on the latest version now boot 26.3, and 26.3 is no longer locked out while crossplay is on. Worlds already played on 26.3 can turn crossplay on without needing a new world.
Rust Map Seed 0 servers get a fresh map at the monthly wipe
If your Rust server uses Map Seed 0, it now automatically generates a new map at Rust's monthly forced wipe, just like Rust intends.
29 bugs squashed
Core KeeperFixes: 1
- Backup names for Core Keeper, Factorio and Terraria reset backups could show the seed you typed instead of the one your world ended up with. They now show the seed actually in use.
EnshroudedFixes: 1
- World backup zips containing certain nested save files or unrelated extra entries no longer get wrongly rejected or skipped during import.
FactorioFixes: 1
- New worlds and world resets for Factorio and Don't Starve Together were sometimes built from default settings instead of what you set on the dashboard. Your seed and world settings now reach the actual world, whether it's a fresh world or one that already exists.
HytaleFixes: 3
- A new Hytale world (including worlds you add after setup) could launch with Hytale's own defaults instead of your chosen rules until the next restart. Now your rules apply from the very first start.
- Moving a Hytale world to Haptic now brings along the barter shops' stock, restock timers, and trade seeds instead of resetting them to empty.
- If a Hytale world upload is missing files, the error message now correctly asks you to zip both the universe and mods folders together, so your shops come along too.
IcarusFixes: 1
- Stopping an Icarus server used to end the game abruptly, so nothing got saved. Stops now let the game shut down cleanly, so your progress is saved before the server stops.
MinecraftFixes: 1
- A timing gap let a crossplay server start on a newer, unverified Minecraft version after a world upload. Crossplay now stays locked to the verified version window as intended.
Minecraft JavaFixes: 3
- Backups for a world uploaded at checkout sometimes showed your server's general version setting instead of the uploaded world's actual version. They now show the world's real version.
- If you changed a game rule directly in-game, Haptic used to overwrite it with the dashboard setting on the next start. Now your in-game changes are kept, and the dashboard reflects what actually happened in the world.
- Outside connections that just check your server's status could briefly be counted as real players, keeping the server marked occupied and blocking it from sleeping. That's fixed, along with a related case where a quietly connecting player could be mistaken for empty during shutdown checks.
PalworldFixes: 2
- Some valid Palworld and Terraria world uploads with zipped worlds or certain file names were mistakenly rejected during import. These uploads now go through correctly.
- Servers running UE4SS mods no longer show extra status messages cluttering the console output.
RuneScape: DragonwildsFixes: 2
- Settings like Building Cost now take effect the first time a new world boots, instead of waiting until the second start.
- A server that stopped or failed to start no longer hangs on to a stale invite code.
SatisfactoryFixes: 1
- After using New World, Satisfactory now creates the game automatically on first boot, so your server isn't left worldless while the dashboard says it's ready.
ValheimFixes: 2
- New Valheim servers and Reset to Defaults now actually use Normal combat difficulty, death penalty, resource drops and raid frequency, matching what the dashboard already displayed.
- Some normal save uploads for Valheim, Windrose and Project Zomboid were being rejected because a few of their own files weren't recognized. Those files are now recognized, so these uploads go through correctly.
WindroseFixes: 2
- Picking Custom difficulty now correctly reaches your world, including when it's a brand new world's first start.
- A slow launch could make the dashboard say your server crashed, even though it just needed a moment longer to start. Haptic now retries that launch instead of reporting a crash.
AccountFixes: 1
- We fixed a timing issue that could send a "your account will be deleted" email for an account whose deletion had already passed.
ConsoleFixes: 1
- If your console session expired while a tab sat idle or your phone was asleep, reconnecting used to retry a dead session several times before working. It now reconnects right away.
DashboardFixes: 1
- If your game never actually launched, the dashboard now tells you to just press Start again instead of suggesting a backup restore or a fresh world.
FilesFixes: 3
- Editing a settings file from the Files card could accidentally save the masked "[REDACTED]" placeholder over your real password or FiveM license key. Edits now keep your actual hidden values in place.
- Offline edits to files Haptic manages for your server could sometimes slip through and get applied on the next start. Edits to those protected files are now blocked, with a clear message if one is refused.
- Project Zomboid's Discord bot token is now hidden in Files and SFTP just like your other passwords, and renaming or moving a file that would expose a hidden password or key is blocked. Backup downloads also leave out DST's Klei token and FiveM/RedM's config secrets.
Wake & PlayFixes: 1
- A brief hiccup in checking whether files were being edited could reset your server's empty window, causing it to sleep or restart earlier than it should. That check now gets a quick second try before giving up.
World uploadsFixes: 2
- Hidden operating system files that sometimes rode along in a world upload could end up on your server or get miscounted as a second world. Those junk files are now filtered out.
- Uploading just a single world file (no zip) for Terraria, Dragonwilds, Satisfactory or V Rising now imports correctly, and Haptic double-checks the file actually belongs to that game before replacing your world.
