My server is lagging

Haptic uses modern technologies behind the scenes to ensure your game server does not lag or experience problems. Of course, even with all precautions taken, sometimes hiccups occur. In general, lag can usually be one of two reasons:

1. Latency either to or from the game server.

2. Your Server Slot size.

It will be difficult to diagnose your latency issues on either end but if one of our servers is experiencing issues, you can checkout Haptic's server status.

Another possible explanation for lag or slowdowns could be your Server Slot resources are insufficient for the demands put on the game server. If you find that you routinely fill your game server with people, you may want to consider upgrading to a different plan with a larger Server Slot. For more info, check out our plans and pricing page.
