Stop your old server and download its mission folder from mpmissions (for example mpmissions/dayzOffline.chernarusplus, with the storage_1 folder inside it). On Haptic, power down your server, open the Backups card, click Upload World and drop the folder in. We put it on the right map, set Map for you, and keep your server's other maps and their worlds.
Nitrado (PC): dayzstandalone/mpmissions/<mission>. LinuxGSM: serverfiles/mpmissions/<mission>. Pterodactyl and most panels: mpmissions/<mission>. Your own Windows server: DayZServer\mpmissions\<mission>.
The live mission is the one your serverDZ.cfg names as template. A whole server folder works too: we find the mission by its init.c file, even several folders deep under mpmissions.
Download with timestamps kept, or download only the live mission: an FTP client that stamps each file with its download time cannot tell us which mission is newest. If the upload has a serverDZ.cfg, we use the mission it names.
Power down your server. Upload World is disabled while the server is running.
Open the Backups card and click Upload World.
Drop in the mission folder, or a ZIP, RAR, 7Z, or TAR.GZ of it, and confirm with Upload and replace world. Your server's current world is saved first as Backup before world upload.
Add the mods your world needs (below), then press Start.

Your server's other maps stay. Each map keeps its own mission folder and saved world. If the upload switches Map, the old map's world stays on the server: set Map back on the Overview card's Details tab to play it again. A folder spelled like your mission in other letters (for example DayZOffline.ChernarusPlus) is replaced by the game's own spelling.
File names are fixed for you. A server on Linux reads mission files only by their lower-case names, so files such as db/Types.xml or cfgEconomyCore.xml from a Windows server are renamed to db/types.xml and cfgeconomycore.xml. If your mission has both spellings, the lower-case file is the one your server reads.
Your gameplay file. cfggameplay.json (or cfgGameplay.json) comes with the mission, but your server's dashboard gameplay settings (base damage, stamina, night lighting, temperature) are written into it at every start, so set them on the Overview card's Details tab to match your old server. When your world's file sets any of them differently from your server, the import names each one with both values, so you can set them before the first start. A community map keeps its own temperatures while Temperature Offset is 0.
Mods are not installed. A world on a community map (Namalsk, Deer Isle and others) needs its map mod, and the server cannot load the map without it: add it and every other mod your old server ran on the Mods card before you start. We name the mods we found in your upload.
Only a saved world (storage_1)? It goes into the map its folder names, or your current map. If the folder still has some of the mission's own files (for example an edited db/types.xml), those replace your server's copies, and your server keeps the rest of its mission.
Mod data from your old server's profiles folder (Expansion, TraderPlus, CodeLock and similar) is named after the upload but not installed. Upload those folders into the logs folder with the Files card before you start the server.
The message on your server card says what the file held:
We couldn't find a DayZ world: upload the mission folder from mpmissions, with storage_1 inside it.
This file holds characters, but no world: players.db alone is your players' characters. Upload the whole storage_1 folder, or better, the mission folder.
This file isn't a DayZ save: files from your own computer (Documents\DayZ, .DayZProfile) are not a world, because DayZ keeps characters and bases on the server you played on. Only serverDZ.cfg, the profiles folder, mod folders or the server program is not a world either: upload the mission folder. Community Offline Mode keeps no world a server can load.
A world from another game: DayZ Mod for Arma 2 worlds (HiveExt.ini, a database dump) cannot load in DayZ.
The only saved world is in a folder named storage_1_old: we never use a renamed copy on its own. Rename it to storage_1 if it is the world you want.
Every save file is empty: make the cloud folder available offline, zip it again and upload.
A refused upload changes nothing on your server.
A mission from an Xbox or PlayStation server (dayzxb_missions, dayzps_missions) imports with its bases and loot, but characters belong to console accounts, so every player starts with a new character. See DayZ: can Xbox or PlayStation players join my server?
